Choir! teamed up with David Byrne and a TON of singers within the Ford Basis foyer of the Public Theater through the Beneath the Radar Pageant to sing ‘Heroes’ written by David Bowie and Brian Eno It was magical + highly effective. If we ever wanted a message to be our personal heroes, proper now could be the time. Throw on some headphones + sing alongside. 

It is actually mesmerizing to look at Byrne in all of his barely awkward glory belting out the tune. When he will get to the “I, I will likely be King, and You, you’ll be Queen” part, he is simply on fireplace. And whereas in fact Bowie is an absolute surprise on this tune, Byrne shines, too—his voice is ideal for it, and he owns it as if he’d written it himself. I would have given something to be in that choir singing backup!
