Three British males have been detained by the Taliban in Afghanistan, UK non-profit group the Presidium Community stated on Saturday. The group stated on Twitter it had been “working intently with two of the households”.

“We’re working arduous to safe consular contact with British nationals detained in Afghanistan and we’re supporting households,” the UK’s overseas ministry added in an announcement.
