Morning Joe‘s parade of woke virtue-signaling marches on!

Earlier this week, we caught Joe Scarborough apologizing for his white privilege. Talking of the loss of life of Tyre Nichols, Scarborough stated that the police would not have attacked him in comparable circumstances as a result of they’d know that “that hell would rain down from above.” Scarborough conveniently ignored the truth that hell did rain down on the cops concerned within the Nichols beating—all had been promptly fired and charged with homicide!

Immediately, Morning Joe‘s virtue-signaling highlight turned to the ouster, by a vote of Republicans, of far-left Consultant Ilhan Omar from her seat on the Home International Affairs committee.

Scarborough spoke of a few of Omar’s previous feedback having been “thought ofto be antisemitic.

“Thought of?” As a sitting Member of Congress, Omar stated that help of Israel by US politicians was “all in regards to the Benjamins.”

When Omar was subsequently requested who she thought was paying American politicians to be pro-Israel, she replied: “AIPAC”—the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.Mika Brzezinski Joe Scarborough Michael Steele MSNBC Morning Joe 2-3-23

Though Omar subsequently mouthed an apology, as just lately as this previous weekend she claimed that when she made the assertion, she was unaware of the “Jews and cash” trope. Riiiiight.

That did not cease Katty Kay from claiming that Omar had made a “actual” apology, which Kay discovered “way more genuine” than that made by Marjorie Taylor Greene for a few of her outlandish and offensive statements.

Towards the tip of the section, Joe, Mika, and Michael Steele—the ex-RNC chairman turned member of the disgraced Lincoln Venture—rose as one to proclaim, “we stand with them,” referring to Omar and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.

Full woke virtue-signaling marks, Joe, Mika, and Michael!

Scarborough condemned the “hypocrisy” of the Republicans who voted to unseat Omar. But, in his virtue-signaling proclamation, Scarborough stated “we stand with this mental variety.” He meant it within the sense that it’s useful for Congress to replicate a wide selection of opinions.

However if there’s any motion in America that appears to stamp out “mental variety,” it’s the woke left. In academia, company America, sports activities, and social media, the cancel-culturists search to defenestrate and destroy the careers of those that take subject with their leftist line.

So, yeah, Joe: we obtained your “hypocrisy” proper right here.

Morning Joe’s virtue-signaling declaration that they “stand with” Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was sponsored partly by Liberty Mutual, GlaxoSmithKline, maker of Shingrix, and Lincoln

Here is the transcript.

JOE SCARBOROUGH: Once more, the hypocrisy is totally, completely loopy.

And I’ll say, Congresswoman Omar made a few statements that had been thought of antisemitic. She apologized for them. I have to say, they had been, they, they actually had been no worse, and I might say, far much less egregious, than what we hear
from Donald Trump, what we hear from Donald Trump’s company, dinner company. What we have been listening to from the Republican occasion over the, over the previous 5, six years.

. . .

KATTY KAY: Ilhan Omar has had an actual apology about what she has stated, and she or he has really used the phrase. She stated, hear, I’ve really discovered from my fellow Jewish Members of Congress, and I notice the ache of the antisemitic tropes. Her apology, I assumed, was way more genuine.

. . . .

SCARBOROUGH: So, sure. Ilhan Omar says quite a lot of issues that I disagree with. AOC says quite a lot of issues I disagree with. Uh, uh, uh: that is America!

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: We stand with them this morning.

SCARBOROUGH: Oh, my God, we stand with them this morning!

MICHAEL STEELE: Precisely.

SCARBOROUGH: Not solely can we stand with them. We stand with one thing a lot, a lot greater than simply them. We stand, once more, with this mental, uh, uh, uh, uh, variety. This friction, the place we get on these committees and we battle.
