Joe Scarborough: woke, white-privilege-virtue-signaling warrior!

On right now’s Morning Joe, Scarborough, commenting on the dying of Tyre Nichols, claimed:

“No police officer would have carried out this to me after I was 29-years-old, a center class white man. No person–they would not have dared. As a result of they knew that in the event that they did, in the event that they beat the hell out of a 29-year-old, center class white man, that hell would rain down from above.”

How admirable of Joe to confess to his white privilege! However there’s one little drawback with Scarborough’s advantage signaling. 5 Memphis cops beat a 29-year-old black man, and . . . hell promptly rained down on them!

Within the blink of a watch, the 5 Memphis cops have been all fired and . . . charged with homicide! What larger hell than that would Scarborough think about? Unsurprisingly, Scarborough failed to say that inconvenient fact, since it will have undercut his virtuous boasting.

Al Sharpton agreed with Scarborough, saying, “I do not consider [police] would have carried out this to a white younger man in Memphis, Tennessee.”

Sharpton additionally talked about that in a dialog with Scarborough simply after the information of the Tyre Nichols case broke:

Scarborough was apparently desirous to get his virtue-signaling on the file on the earliest potential second.

JOE SCARBOROUGH: This tragedy, once more, shifts the main focus, as we have talked about, from, from race just a bit bit on this case to say, okay, we clearly must, now we have to give attention to racism in policing the place there may be racism in policing.
