Trump’s “empire” is crumbling on all fronts as a judge ruled that the criminal case against former Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg can proceed.
CBS News reported:
A New York state judge ruled Friday that a fraud and tax evasion prosecution against the Trump Organization and its former CFO, Allen Weisselberg, can proceed.
Weisselberg and the companydismiss all 15 charges against her. Judge Juan Merchan dismissed one of several tax fraud charges against the Trump Organization, but allowed all others to stand.
Trump’s attorneys tried again to assert that the charges were political and asked the judge to drop all charges, but as in every case where Trump attempted his defense of political persecution, they were dismissed.
Between the confiscation of classified documents in Mar-a-Lago, the criminal investigation by the Georgia grand jury, and the civil and criminal trials in New York, Donald Trump’s empire is crumbling.
Trump is desperate to return to politics because it’s the only way he can make money and stop law enforcement.
Without the ability to corruptly use the powers of the presidency to protect himself, Donald Trump and his family finally stand trial.
