Tamar Braxton addresses the important issue of mental health. Check out the post she shared on her social media account below.
“A year after being confronted with the reality that I too have a mental illness, I decided not to hide from it. I wanted to share my experience with anyone who has experienced and been going through the worst of times mentally in the hopes…so have I and that you are not alone. I thought at first that no one would listen. I figured that every week I would be in the blogs and talked about in the press and continue to be teased and destroyed. But instead I found a community of people who were just like me…” Tamar captioned her post.
She continued and said, “Under construction!! Thank you for this nomination @naacpimageawards. Thank you for recognizing something so important to me and our community. @theeangelnicole for being the BEST producer and @drhollycarter for sticking through it and everyone for making this podcast a dream come true!!! I am so grateful. Congratulations also to my girl @michellewilliams and all the other nominees for making a positive difference on such a big platform.
