A Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter from the Tennessee Nationwide Guard crashed Wednesday afternoon close to Freeway 53 in Huntsville, Alabama. Two crew members have been immediately killed on the impression.
“We’re deeply saddened by the lack of two Tennessee Nationwide Guardsmen, and our prayers are with their households throughout this heartbreaking tragedy.”
“We ask Tennesseans to affix us in supporting their households throughout this time of unthinkable grief,” Brig. Gen. Warner Ross, Tennessee’s Adjutant Common, stated in an announcement.
In response to Ross, the 2 crew members have been conducting a flight-training mission.
The helicopter crashed close to Freeway 53 and Burwell Highway round 1500 ET. He stated there have been no survivors.
Safety footage from a home in a close-by neighborhood caught the helicopter falling out of the sky.

One other video confirmed the helicopter utterly engulfed in flames subsequent to the freeway.
This was in my city of Harvest, AL. (it is close to Huntsville) It was a black hawk helicopter and there have been no survivors. The helicopter was fairly of Tennessee Nationwide Guard. My query is what was the Tennessee nationwide guard doing in Alabama….??? pic.twitter.com/uAV8AlZHca

An investigation is underway to determine what led to the crash.
