Sarah Palin ate indoors in New York City without showing proof of vaccination before testing positive for COVID.
The New York Times reported:
Sarah Palin, who is not vaccinated against the coronavirus, ate Saturday night indoors at Elio’s, an Italian restaurant on Manhattan’s Upper East Side that regularly draws celebrities, despite New York City’s requirement that all indoor diners show proof of vaccinations have to. She tested positive for the virus on Monday.
“We just made one mistake,” said Luca Guaitolini, a manager at the restaurant, who was not working Saturday night but confirmed Ms Palin’s visit. He said the restaurant checked vaccination records for all first-time customers but not for regulars who come every week, and that Ms Palin dined with a long-time guest whose name he declined to give.
Sarah Palin appears to have received special treatment in New York and spread COVID
It is assumed that the restaurant made no mistake. Instead, they disobeyed the law. New York law states that people must show proof of vaccination to dine indoors. There is no exemption for celebrities.
Sarah Palin tested positive for COVID and was likely running around New York spreading the virus to everyone she came in contact with.
Mandates and requirements don’t matter if companies don’t comply with the law. When Sarah Palin received special treatment, the restaurant allowed her to put her other customers at risk.
That Sarah Palin is selfish comes as no surprise. It turns out the only thing Palin could be good at is spreading COVID.
