New York-based UpHealth brings patient management software to Nagaland, India
HelloLyf, patient management, digital health, and decision support software from New York-listed digital health company UpHealth, has arrived in Nagaland, India, with the opening of the company’s newest healthcare facility.
The digital hospital HelloLyf HX offers outpatient care, emergency care, radiology and imaging, intensive care, long-term care, inpatient care and houses a complete dialysis unit. It is intended to provide COVID-19 supplies and resources and serves as an acute hospital.
It is powered by HelloLyf software which is able to connect patients with virtual health specialists around the world. The facility’s 88 e-intensive care beds with connected ventilators and injection syringe pumps are also assigned to the patient management software.
UpHealth plans to open more digital hospitals across India, as well as in Africa and some rural areas in the US.
“Our dream was to deliver the best possible healthcare to underserved areas at a reasonable cost and with rapid development and construction times,” said Sabahat Azim, CEO of UpHealth International, in a statement.
Snore detection, weather and season monitoring come in the latest update of the mobile sleep tracker ShutEye
Hong Kong-based health app developer Enerjoy will release a new version of ShutEye, a mobile sleep tracker app that helps users understand the quality and patterns of their sleep.
Based on a press release, ShutEye 2.0 will provide more user-friendly sleep reports, a sound environment analysis report, snore detection, pre-bedtime activity records, weather and seasonal monitoring and analysis. It also warns users of possible illnesses.
The upcoming version will include guides on how to relax before bed and practical advice on how to improve the quality of sleep.
The updated ShutEye app will be available from December 20th in the Apple App Store.
AXA Hong Kong brings online psychological services to the insurance app
Insurance company AXA Hong Kong has teamed up with local technology-based psychological service provider TheraTalk to offer psychological services to its customers.
TheraTalk’s Mind Healer is an online counseling platform where users perform a simple mental health assessment and receive online textual advice. AXA offers its occupational pension customers an exclusive five-day free trial version of the service via its Emma by AXA mobile app.
AXA has now compiled a comprehensive list of health professionals, including general practitioners with psychological qualifications, certified psychiatrists and clinical psychologists. Available for insured employees and their relatives in the Emma by AXA app, the list helps customers to find suitable and reliable specialists in mental health. Further specialists will be invited shortly to advise their insurance customers.
OrigiMed is developing a digital service platform for anti-tumor drugs with Janssen
The Chinese provider of diagnostic solutions, OrigiMed, has signed a letter of intent with the Janssen (China) Research and Development Center of Johnson & Johnson (China) Investment Co. for a strategic collaboration to develop new clinical solutions based on data science.
Specifically, the partnership includes the creation of a practical evidence database and the optimization of clinical study and patient management using OrigiMed’s online medical platform.
Together they will build a digital service platform for new anti-tumor drugs and accompanying diagnostic products based on OrigiMed’s next-generation sequencing technology, a gene database, a patient follow-up database, and practical studies and evidence.
