Former MLB infielder and govt Sal Bando died Friday after a battle with most cancers. Bando spent 16 years within the majors, together with 11 in Oakland, successful three World Sequence trophies with the A’s within the early ‘70s.
The four-time All-Star completed his profession with the Brewers, later serving as Milwaukee’s GM from 1991-99.
