In her new book, Kellyanne Conway claims that Trump considered dropping out of the presidential race after the Access Hollywood Tape was released.
Here is Conway’s version of events:
“Should I get out? [of the race]?” Trump asked Conway, according to the book.
“I never give up,” he added.
“You really can’t, unless you want to give up and throw the whole damn thing at Hillary.”
Trump fired back, “What do you mean I can’t?”
Conway then stated that early voting had begun and therefore he could not stop.
Kellyanne Conway is probably dishing out more alternative facts
The idea that Trump was thinking of quitting might be accurate. Trump always gives up. Trump is a quitter. When he fails, he gives up and blames someone else.
The fiction likely has Conway playing the hero and stopping Trump from quitting. Approximately 47 billion Trump presidential books have been written, and none have published that history.
Kellyanne Conway has proven time and time again that she is a pathological liar. Her citing herself as a source in the book is a big red flag.
Conway doesn’t get a media job anywhere because of her long history of lying.
Everyone who buys her book is buying a work of fiction, and the media publishing stories from the book are fed a hefty dose of “alternative facts.”
