The Freeport LNG plant in Texas has exported its first cargo since an explosion and hearth shut it down in June, S&P World Platts reported Sunday.

The BP-chartered (BP) Kmarin Diamond reportedly departed the liquefied pure fuel export facility Sunday morning, and appeared no less than partially laden, with its subsequent vacation spot set for Port Stated, on the entrance of the Suez Canal, S&P World Platts mentioned, citing commerce stream knowledge.

A second LNG vessel, the Prism Agility, is moored on the Freeport facility, in accordance with Bloomberg.

The exercise is an indication that second greatest U.S. liquefied pure fuel export plant doubtless will start pulling in a number of fuel to make LNG for export in coming weeks.

The June hearth that shut down Freeport LNG was brought on by inadvertently eliminated overpressure safety and closed valves, officers on the U.S. Division of Transportation mentioned Saturday, in accordance with Bloomberg, in its first in-depth public overview of the incident.
