Heard was recently spotted in Tel Aviv, Israel having lunch with Eve Barlow, who was dropped from the $50 million defamation lawsuit against Johnny Depp.
An Israeli reporter shared a picture of the friends enjoying a meal outdoors last week. Barlow casually wore a white tank top, while the actress sported two French braids and minimal makeup.
Heard, 36, was seen with a stroller in photos taken the previous day. Oonagh, Paige Heard, their 1 year old daughter, had been checking out the town.
In April, Barlow was abruptly removed from the rigorous Depp-Heard trial for “currently residency, texting and publishing information” while sitting in the front row normally reserved for defense advisers, Page Six previously revealed.
At the time, insiders with knowledge of the Fairfax, Va., courtroom informed us that the British music critic had gotten into trouble with Judge Penney S. Azcarate over her actions, which were reportedly trying to interfere in the case of Depp-supporting witness Gina, according to Deuters .
Barlow’s request to be banned from the hearings indefinitely was eventually granted by Judge Azcarate, who declared that the former assistant editor of New Musical Express (NME) “didn’t [be] to return to the courthouse during this arraignment.”
After Heard, to whom Depp, 59, was married from 2015 to 2017, published an opinion piece for the Washington Post about suffering from domestic violence, Depp, 59, filed a lawsuit against her in 2019. In 2020, the “Aquaman” actress countersued against the actor for $100 million.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor said his ex-wife fabricated the rhetorical claims he says ruined his career in order to get a sizable divorce payment, though Heard didn’t specifically mention Depp in the article.
After winning the case in June and receiving $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in penalties, Depp’s reputation was restored.
