Celo Health, an Auckland-based healthcare mobile communications platform, has partnered with rostering solution provider Core Schedule to develop an integrated cloud communications and staffing platform for healthcare providers.
WHY IT MATTERS
According to a press release, the combined offering eliminates manual labor scheduling while improving operational efficiency by scheduling the right number of employees needed. The integrated solution also accommodates schedule requirements and communicates schedule changes in real time.
Additionally, the Workforce platform eliminates the need to page staff on call, as clinicians can easily quickly search for staff on duty by role in the Celo directory. In addition, the platform enables employee feedback to be collected for future duty roster planning.
This integration is based on Core Schedule’s rostering software, which takes factors such as employee availability, vacation time, and shift conflicts into account to create fast and reliable employee schedules. Meanwhile, real-time communication of roster updates and roster change requests is enabled through Celo Health’s HIPAA-compliant messaging platform
THE BIGGER TREND
Earlier this year, Core Schedule signed its first partner in the aged care sector. The intelligent planning software was introduced with the newly launched Gnullingo Mia Elderly Care in Western Australia. In December, its platform was deployed across 15 Central Adelaide Local Health Network services in South Australia to support their response to COVID-19.
In other news, Celo Health recently landed in the United States with a headquarters in Seattle.
