“The Southeastern Convention discovered at this time of the choice by the Massive 12 Convention to change the membership exit date for the College of Oklahoma and the College of Texas. We’re persevering with our preparation for this membership transition, and we stay up for welcoming the Convention’s new members and shifting into our future as a 16-team league.

The Presidents and Chancellors of the SEC beforehand voted with unanimous approval to simply accept the applying of Oklahoma and Texas to affix the Convention on July 1, 2025 and have now licensed the Convention Workplace to proceed with facilitating the transition of Oklahoma and Texas to grow to be full members of the Southeastern Convention on July 1, 2024.”
