Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that Apple is switching suppliers for its Face ID elements within the 2023 iPhone, reportedly as a result of it improves the efficiency and energy consumption.
Presently, Kuo says that the mix of Lumentum’s design work and Win Semi’s manufacturing means their Face ID elements are in 50% of the iPhone 14 sequence. He experiences that Apple is switching to Sony, and the earlier corporations’ share will lower to between 30% and 40% with the iPhone 15 vary.
