Aviation regulator DGCA has sought particulars from the Nepal authorities concerning the incident of an Air India and a Nepal Airways plane coming near a mid-air collision, in keeping with a senior official.

On Friday morning, a Nepal Airways aircraft coming to Kathmandu from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and an Air India aircraft coming to Kathmandu from New Delhi nearly collided.

Authorities on Sunday mentioned warning techniques alerted the pilots whose well timed motion prevented the catastrophe.

A senior DGCA official on Sunday mentioned particulars are being obtained from the Nepal authorities on the airprox incident.
